Hubert Falkenberg
German born, obtained the Economics and Bank Degree from the University of Cologne, Germany. He also studied languages and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Due to this, he had the opportunity, while in University, during his free time, to work as a Tour Guide for the recognized as the number one agency of those days, Dr. Tigges. This activity awoke his interest first, and passion later for the Tourism Business.
Having lived in Mexico for over 17 years now, and having traveled intensively throughout the country, possesses an impressive knowledge of the land.
For more than 30 years he worked for the LTU Group, one of the most important airlines and tour operators in Germany. After being Managing Director of TRANSAIR in Düsseldorf, (part of same group), he was entrusted with the opening of an inbound branch office in Mexico.
That he did, very successfully. For ten years he directed Go Mexico Tours, reaching the goal of operating up to 65,000 passengers per year throughout the Country. Finally, in October 2001, together with his Mexican wife, Beatriz Chenhalls, started their own company, GO MEXICO GROUPS & INCENTIVES, recognized as a Premier DMC for whole Mexico.
Beatriz Chenhalls-Falkenberg
In love with her country -she was born in San Luis Potosí, one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Mexico- she studied tourism and business administration, in Mexico, the USA and Spain. After working with some of the most important tourism related companies, and being the Marketing Director of Go Mexico Tours for ten years, she and her husband founded Go Mexico Groups & Incentives.
For a four-year period, she was President of the Mexico Chapter of SITE (Society of Incentive & Travel Executives). Next, for two years, she had the important task of fostering education, in her position as Immediate Past President and Education Vice-President of same Association. She collaborates with the Board of Directors in the Mexico Chapters of SITE and MPI (Meeting Professionals International).
Beatriz has also actively participated in the Board of AMATUR (Mexican Association of Inbound Operators), as member of the Business Travel Committee (Mexico Tourism Board), as member of the Advisory Board for the Tianguis Mexico Trade Show, as well as for the Chicago Motivation Show (IT&ME). She has been speaker in many national and international events.
